My iTunes database on this particular computer is old school, just AAC 256. When I used these same two Touch's back in 2010-2012, I was able to play reliably the AAC 256 database and also the AAC lossless database. But that was my place in California, and the wifi router was probably current technology to the technology in the Touch. I wonder if it's related to the newer router / modem.
I have now tried plugging in the SBox Touch to the router / modem unit directly, and still get re-buffering playing the database on the computer.
