Thanks for the link to the files. Apparently Logitech support have no previous versions available! Hmmm!
I have found a fix: I installed the latest version LMS 8.2.0 on a new Win10 install. That's where the problem lies! I uninstalled 8.2.0 and installed LMS 7.7.3. The volume was now at the correct level. I then updated 7.3.9; 8.0.0; 8.1.1 and 8.2.0 in turn; at each update the volume remained at the correct level. I then uninstalled and installed LMS 8.2.0. The volume issue was back. The problem appears to be with this version. If you upgrade, I found there were some files and folders from 7.7.3 et al, that were updated each time. I don't know why, but if I install LMS 8.2.0 first, some of the legacy folder and files are missing. Perhaps, being an old piece of equipment Logitech didn't expect to use 8.2.0 as the first and only install? Perhaps it is meant only as an update? I didn't check whether installing a version later than 7.7.3 did the trick. But it may be worth trying if anyone else has this problem. I believe you can update from 7.7.3 to 8.2.0 in one step. Thanks to all for your feedback and help. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Annie Body's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72043 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115036 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
