Would a Raspberry Pi3 B+ suit the OP's application ? I believe it has 1GB ram, rather than the 2GB/4GB/8GB of the Pi4. But perhaps easier on the purse, and if it works well enough...
I'm still using a 3B+ every day in the office. It's plenty powerful for my 20k tracks and some online music integration.
