thanks for this link. rob is right, this is only a limitation of the
original ioctl thingy, which is not a problem when using netlink
(with a fresh implementation). this BUG affects also tunnels...

"very much" 8-)

bastian@box:~/net-tools$ git log --after="2012/06/31" --pretty=format:"Author:
%an" | wc -l
26
bastian@box:~/net-tools$ git log --after="2012/06/31" --pretty=format:"Author:
%an" | sort | uniq | wc -l
5

bastian@box:~/iproute2$ git log --after="2012/06/31" --pretty=format:"Author:
%an" | wc -l
190
bastian@box:~/iproute2$ git log --after="2012/06/31" --pretty=format:"Author:
%an" | sort | uniq | wc -l
49

but anyway, it says only where the devs are at the moment.
(and like rob mentioned: 'cat' has not touched since a long time and is good 8-)

bye, bastian
