We all have to start somewhere.

It's cool to hear that you are interested in a KDE/QT client. I have been 
pondering creating one for a while now.  I (re)wrote the c++ client protocol 
library with that in mind and hopefully it makes it easier. If you have any 
ideas about how it should look, let me know. I am keen to learn the KDE/QT 
way of programming.
