Oh yeah. I was also waiting a lot for Supernova. Too bad it was never finished. > Could you list some of the search terms you thought of when trying to > find Thousand Parsec? Sure I would be glad to have these instructions. I'm sure I can find some time to help you with testing. > I am a strictly gnome and Python man. > > I can help you understand how to implement certain things as a client > and it is all ways good to have a second implementation to check that we > havnt introduced any Python or wxWindows specific code. The biggest work is writing the > actual GUI side. I already have libcurl, libmng, libguile installed on my Gentoo Linux system. So these 3 should already be set up for development. So now I only have to manually and correctly install libtpproto-cpp and it should be ready to go. And yes, I know that the biggest part is actually creating the GUI client. And I'm also a little bit scared that it would be too much for my beginners knowledge of C++/Qt. But I have to try and see how it actually goes. > No, its good to log bug reports to SF as it raises our activity level > and hence visibility. Plus it gives us a record of what has happened. Ah yes, I was also thinking about improving the activity level, after I posted to the mailing list. In the future I will do it correctly and log the problems in the bug/todo tracking system. > Hope to see you around.
