Because of length restrictions (particularly on dns-sd txt records), the short 
name should be a parameter to leave more space for other fields, and the long 
name the service name. Names (either short or long) shouldn't have to be 
unique, once tpserver-cpp actually generates and remembers it's key... Only 
the short name needs to be unique on a server.
