May I suggest:
- All tags must be closed (XML(XHTML) like)
- <p> Paragraph
- <strong> Strong text (rarely used)
- <em> Emphasis
- <h[123456]> Headings of various sizes
- <a ref="id"> Where ID is a # of the generic references in the
message.
(So you can refer to fleet names, planet names and race names in the
message in a generic way).
So if there are three references:
<Object, #22>
<Player, #1>
<Object, #8>
And the message is a failed colonisation message:
<p><a ref="0">Spore Cloud #22</a> has failed to colonise <a
ref="2">Omnicron Persei VIII</a>. It is currently owned by the <a
ref="1">Omnicrons</a>.
