Yes, it turned out to be very painless.

I'm currently working on the first two (mainly the first one). I have done the 
view support for Components and Designs. I am happy with them as they are 
forming the template I'm using for Object Views.

Difference support is on hold currently.  As I mailed last month, I can see 
issues with it.

This is about half done. About as far as I can go without getting into the 
Object View stuff.  The Component and Design View things need to be done, as 
does straightening out when and how persistence is done.

Depending on how much I get done, and how supportive people are, I would hope 
to do a release either before, or immediately after, LCA08.

I would suggest that if tpclient-pywx is ready to release, don't wait for 
tpserver-cpp 0.5.0.
