We (especially you) have always just added stuff to the current 
protocol, and hoped that the clients/servers/libraries kept up to date 
with it. Sometimes you have even done it to the previous version of the 
protocol, just to annoy me. It would be nice if TP04 could be the first 
feature-complete protocol (just need research and diplomacy). I wasn't 
suggesting a new version of the protocol.

The Research page on the wiki has the latest. But I have given up trying 
to push this forward. I note that the message you replied to is over a 
year old. And I started working on research at LCA 07.

Do we need to have a week where we focus on the protocol?


What's with all the poking? What brought on this interest in things 
mentioned a year ago for you to agree to or discuss that had no action 
taken since?
