All: I am seeing some repeated behaviors in TPTP profiling that I
must report that are annoying. I am Profiling our RCP app using RAServer.exe. 1) Every time I
profile some part of our app, I set up a new profile when I click on the
Profile button, it takes upwards of a 1 minute for it to launch the Profile
perspective. 2) When I click
on the “Start Monitoring” button, there is a rapid flicker between
the arrow cursor and the wait cursor. This will go on for some time but
if I click in the Profiler Monitor tree it will stop doing this and then starts
monitoring. Very quirky. 3) Lastly, the biggest
problem for me is deleting old profile runs to clean up the Profile Monitor
tree. If I click on an old one to delete it, it then prompts me to delete
the contents in the file system or not. If I choose yes to delete the
contents, Eclipse is hung pretty much indefinitely, or until I lose my patience
