All, This email is to introduce the TPTP Platform
component sub-project “Java
Profiling for Java 1.5 and beyond based applications” (also
called Java 5). The effort is currently under development and is on track for a
technology preview release in TPTP 4.2. The technology preview will focus on a
limited set of profiling capabilities for TPTP 4.2. The effort is tracked in the
enhancement TPTP
Java Profiling for Java 5+ applications. The goal of the JVMTI team in the
current TPTP release has been to implement the core infrastructure to enable the
profiling capabilities allowing for additional agent contributions and
profiling capabilities. The team currently holds weekly
meetings at 7:00 am PST every Wednesday. If you are interested in calling in,
