It'd be quicker if you attached a patch if you already had it. Offering to attach a patch and then waiting to get that request to add the patch means an extra step you could avoid. The rest of your email made absolutely no sense. Could you explain it all in a different way, because as of right now it looks like you are trying to get people with limited time to pay full attention to your issues and nobody elses. I don't think you're getting the concept behind a ticket system Ilias, which is where a lot of hostility and frustration on this list is coming from. The way a ticket system works in open source is like this: 1) file the ticket 2) attach a patch 3) wait until someone who has free time has time to look at it, and they'll update that ticket with the results. Right now you're doing that, and then adding to that by emailing the list with a lot of extra stuff. This eats away at the most limited resource that the entire project has, which is time. So when developers spend time reading emails from you or responses to your emails, they spend less time working on your tickets. Your time table doesn't match with anyone elses from what I can tell. Add to that fact you email the mail the list(s) more than anyone else, and you're really becoming a drain to the community, or otherwise you could be called a "poisonous person". So I'm not trying to start another 30 reply thread or trying to call you bad things, but basically I think that if you were to use the already established practices from prior to your joining rather than trying to get people to do things the way you want, you'd see better results and wouldn't be hated by half of the trac community.
