As Manu said, plus the fact that wiki_to_text was always on that feature 
list as well [1]. So if you write one by creating e.g. a TextFormatter, 
that would be a nice addition.
One thing I wanted to do is to collect the links, write [x] references 
as we go, and append a summary of the links at the end of the text 
(something like what I did in this mail)
