Glad this has been brought up hear as I've missed this development by now. I've only used SubticketsPlugin by now, but wish I had better integration into Trac, i.e. see TicketQuery at least ticket IDs indented in result list same as in ticket view extension that is contributed by SubticketsPlugin on it's own. Users requesting this visual grouping a lot. I wish this new feature would be available soon. Possible disruptive db upgrade will hold me back from using it soon as I do with many Trac plugins to show/proof trunk code quality. Go, go, go, for the new ticket-links branch, as it seem to become an reasonable generic implementation matching Trac spirits nicely.
