We'll be working closely with some of the plugin developers and where it makes sense and is possible we would like to re-license plugins to become a core part of the Bloodhound distribution. We also plan to be to work with Trac-hacks guys to develop some of the popular plugins there and there have been some really interesting ideas about how we could help that site develop. > PS: Thnx for your initiative and for supporting this effort . > The more discussions I have with people about this approach, the more comfortable I get that this is the right one for everyone involved. There is undoubtedly a lot of pent up demand for an Open Source defect tracker that Trac can meet, but doesn't out of the box. If we can take the elegance of the Trac architecture and combine it with a functional, attractive and well designed distribution then I'm confident this will have a big impact for users.
