well, it does seem to be an issue with mod_python, but i cannot figure out
what it is... i've found more ways to break that thing than anyone could
imagine. anyway, the same install also works with fastcgi so i'm pretty
confident that it's not a trac problem. i'm fine with closing the ticket
and assuming there's a configuration/build tweak for os x that i just
haven't found yet.
