I have no problems with sending emails from trac via sendmail to "Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 6.0.3790.2499". I know that this does not help you, but it shows that you should contact your Exchange administrator. Even exchange has logging capabilities - despite they are brain-dead...
