Nevertheless, this feature exhibits a serious drawback: when the
ticket component is modified, another "thread" is to be created. With
web client such as GMail, this may become quite boring. This feature
being implemented as a site-wide setting, a user won't be able to
follow a thread when the component is updated.

Using X-* SMTP header might be an alternative to sort ticket
notification emails with component criteria.
