Thanks again for your support. As before it did the trick and I
evolved to the next level of error messages:
undefined symbol: gss_delete_sec_context

I thought I could fix this myself using these instructions and adding -
lgssapi" to this line SVN_APR_LIBS = ...: in the makefile.

But then running make I got this error:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgssapi
