Hi, Has anybody successfully subscribed to a Trac-generated RSS feed using igoogle (www.google.com/ig) or similar web-based RSS aggregator tool?
I can read them with a Mozilla plugin, but I'm interested in trying with a web-based tool. The catch is that our Tracs live on authenticated HTTPS port and require login for access. Given the AJAX-y nature of igoogle, I was hoping that the actual feed fetch was happening at the client (browser) side, so that I'd still be able to pull RSS feeds that I had locally authenticated. But, when I paste in a Trac RSS link into igoogle (or Google Reader) it is unable to resolve the URL as an RSS feed. My guess is that there is something server-side attempting to verify the feed??? I've probably botched my explanation, but does anyone know what I'm talking about and have any hints or ideas on how to achieve it?
