PmWiki does a sort of RCS-style conflict notification. That is, when
subsequent editors save the page, it detects the error (by storing the
mtime of the page when called to edit and comparing the mtime of the
page at post back) and then returns the page to be edited with changes
flagged with '>>>>>>>>>>>>>>' and '<<<<<<<<<<<<<<'. The subsequent
editor then has the option to merge, delete or post the page with the
conflict in place.
