I would agree with Noah. Having set trac up at work on windows and on linux for personal projects - I prefer linux for the following reasons:
1) Getting all the different systems (svn + trac + email ) to talk to each other elegantly was _much_ easier to do on linux. email2trac ( a must if your team loves email ) was exceptionally easier on linux. 2) I haven't hit anything yet that I couldn't do on both, but in general I have been able to set stuff up and get help when it's broken faster on the linux and then relied on ported that knowledge to windows.
