I had some bad days with fink on Tiger as well (not as bad though). So I've ended up rebuilding from scratch on Tiger, but I had some bad hours too, but I finally managed to get it work On Leopard, it is far easier - everything is already installed. However there might be some conflicts between the Apple tools and the extras you've installed, yes. Try clean up your PATH and PYTHONPATH, then move to /Library/Python/2.5/site-packages/ and be sure to clean up everything that you might have installed previously (inc. svn wrappers, pysqlite wrappers, etc. if any). All the dependencies you need (but Genshi) are located in /System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5 and should be left unmodified > I keep hearing that "this is easy" and that "it just works", but that > has not been the case.
