The repository browser has much more information about a file than a wiki or ticket attachment, such as properties and revisions. It also would not be consistent (within the repos browser) if clicking a file name would show the info page sometimes, and download directly other times. I can think of two options to extend the discussion: Add a download link to the file listing page. This would take up more real estate, and would only be used rarely. Perhaps only show it for unrenderable files? Add a javascript redirect/iframe to the info page. This would cause the file to be downloaded after the info page is displayed, but without requiring another click. It would probably be confusing. Even if it only happened for unrenderable files, it would still be annoying if all you really wanted to do was see the info page.
