PySVN is not the same thing as the SVN SWIG bindings. You find the correct bindings at http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=91 but I don't see any built for Python 2.6. You can either try to build them yourself, or switch to 2.5.
