Hey,

I'm new to Trac. I've installed the latest version (0.11.5) and set
it up on Apache2 with mod_python. I've got it authenticating with our
Active Directory and it's looking really good.

We are not developers. I'm going to use it as a fault tracking system
for our IT department. We have 4 IT staff that I have given
TRAC_ADMIN rights to. Everyone else has very restricted rights. I
only want them to be able to create new tickets and view tickets they
have created. I don't want them to see anyone elses tickets.

I've got a few things left to figure out before going live, but I
assume it is bad ettiquite to put them all in the same post. You
might see some more posts from me if I can't figure them out myself.
Anyway, here is my first question.

I've removed most of the permissions that normal users don't need and
I've put links on the front page of the wiki to a couple of reports so
they can see their open tickets and all their tickets including closed
ones. So far it looks really good. There is still a link in the main
navigation at the top called View Tickets that shows all the available
reports.

Is there a way to hide View Tickets for normal users, but leave it
available for the administrators?

I've tried removing REPORT_VIEW permissions and that gets rid of the
link in the main navigation, but then people can't view the reports
that I have linked on the front page of the wiki.
