Question for you, or other people running multiple "projects" in Trac:
I'm trying to do the same thing - simply run several projects from one repository and one Trac environment. However, the version/milestones/ components now ALL have to have the project name in them. For example, now I should file a ticket under ProjectA-GUI component, for the ProjectA-1.0 milestone, and it's under the ProjectA-0.5 version. This is a little extra work & is more prone to user error. Is there a way to make components ETC dependent on each other? For example, if I select a ProjectC milestone, can I make it only display ProjectC components and versions? How do you handle the.. I guess wordiness that comes with having multiple projects in one Trac environment? I welcome and thoughts on this.
