This is very likely indeed. Running 0.12 with a 0.11.7 database will give you an error message saying that you should run "trac-admin upgrade". You should restore a clean 0.11.7 database, uninstall 0.11.7, install 0.12, and finally run "trac-admin upgrade". -- Remy
