I got the binaries that you're talking about. They didn't come with sliksvn (which I was using), either that or I don't know where they are. It's sad that the necessary dependencies of the python bindings don't come with said bindings.
I can now run the much-desired "from svn import core" with no errors, so I'll continue on the trail of the cookbook or whatever seems appropriate to get trac going. Thanks very much for your help. There are multiple version of the dynamic library in your system and Python can not find the correct ones. Just add your subversion bin path to your start of system environment variables PATH (C:\svn-win32-1.7.2\bin). Restart your computer. I hope it helps.
