Take a look at the XSLT macro:
http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/XsltMacro

You'll need to write a little bit of XSLT to transform the XML and
extract just the part you want, but I was able to use this to great
effect parsing the build status data from both CruiseControl and
Hudson back in the day.
