Apache mod_wsgi has (dep. on the version) WSGIPythonExecutable or WSGIPythonHome -- see http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/wiki/ConfigurationDirectives#WSGIPythonExecutable Note, however, that you may have to e.g. build your own python-psycopg2 if you plan on using postgres: non-default pythons are typically missing a lot of stuff.
