I searched for this topic but couldn't find the answer I was looking for. If there is an existing topic that addresses my question I would be fine with a pointer to that topic. What I would like to do is drop use of the username in lieu of the email address. It seems like the username is so pervasive throughout Trac that this would be a massive undertaking. Is there a simple way of doing this that I am missing?
One kind of inelegant solution I thought might work is to use the email address as the username. I know the default naming conventions don't allow an email address as a username but I assume relaxing the naming convention would not be too difficult. Could this work? Could this work without having to make changes throughout the source code? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
