Hi,

every second month, I need to go through the tickets and check what will be included into the next release or not. We currently have the Priority and Severity fields that will sequence the taks. But if you have more than 200 ticketsto check, you will soon loose the oversight and opening every ticket to only change the priority or severity is some tedious work.

trac itself currently has 600 open tickets. And I expect that you also can't really shedule the next work. But you are in the lucky situation, that the next release is ready, when it is ready and you can work on almost whatever you want. This is normally not the case in business live ;-) Things need to be ready when they are promised to the customer.

What I'm missing from trac are two things:

1.) Bulk editing tickets. e.g have a selection of tickets available and assign a specific change to all tickets or even better, change different things for multiple tickets from one page. 2.) Sorting tickets. If one could simply sort tickets thereby inroducing the work sequence. This combined with a due date and a time estimation will let you simply tell what will happen if you move one ticket in front of another. Currently I do this by exporting to excel and then move things around. But I cant't reimport the new order if I'm lucky with the result.

I'm not a HTML and javscript guru, so I can't tell wether a spreadsheet kind of application is possible to do. But this would be really great.

Best regards
Dirk
