[Trac] Thunderbird 1.5 and Trac RSS

I'm trying to subscribe to a RSS feed (report) published by trac using Thunderbird 1.5. The trac uses htdigest authentication. I get the following message after typing in my credentials:

Alert

http://trac-site/report/14?format=rss&USER=dknesek
is not a valid RSS feed.
**********************

Can anyone help with this problem?
