Here's an odd one. I have two server's running Trac: a
development/testing system at home, and a production system at work. On
my production system, when I go to the Timeline page I have to refresh
or click on the link again to get the page to show the latest info from
the svn repository. On my testing system, it is immediate (every hit to
the Timeline page shows the latest data).
Both are running the same version (0.9.5), however my testing system
runs on CentOS 4.3 and the production system is Fedora Core 3 (planning
an upgrade, however there is other dependencies that need to be worked
out first). Beyond that, the only other difference is that the
production machine has been upgrade fairly consistently since around
version 0.8. The testing system was recently built from scratch with
the latest version of Trac installed.
There are no other issues with either Trac installation that I am aware
of, just this minor (IMO) quirk. My manager is getting bugged by it,
however, and wants to see it fixed.
Any ideas?
