That might prove a bit limiting. However, if you can access the web
(HTTP), then you can pull down trunk.

Other than svn, I don't know. Some package managers might be making
snapshot packages.
I saw a note that is was to be released 'shortly', is shortly this week,
month, fall???
I don't expect a hard date, just an idea....
"real soon" now. I know that the developers are working to release
0.10beta. I'm sure that they hope to release it sooner rather than
later, but it depends on how much work is left and how much they can do
My best guess is to expect a 0.10beta in July.[1]
