How solid is the latest release?
The trunk release (r3507) is pretty solid, IMO.
Do 'svn co http://svn.edgewall.com/repos/trac/trunk' to get
a check out of the source.
Then, 'cd trunk; python setup.py install' and you're done.

The only catch is that some of the mimeview related interfaces,
introduced during 0.10 development, are going to be cleaned-up.
This won't affect you, unless you're planning to write a content
converter plugin.
As for the release schedule, I'm pretty sure the beta will be out
before the end of this month.
