yeh they are quite helpful, however they had no idea why it wasn't
working so I told them I would look around on the net. It seems that code/quote blocks and bold text does work in my trac ticket descriptions, however bullet points do not :-\ CVSDude provide a nice page they made for commandline access to trac and easy permission builder, but most of the configuration is done through trac-admin pages. Still I'm stumped :) -Josh Simpson, Troy (NIH/NIEHS) [E] wrote: I opened an account yesterday in order to learn more about Trac without having to do all the administration stuff myself. I want to see if Trac can do the major things I need without have to invest a lot of time in setting it up. So far, I like what I see.I would suspect that cvsdude has created admin pages for the mainly used features. But if there is something that you want and it requires the changing of a configuration file, you might be able to submit a help ticket to them to change/add this feature for you. That is what I have done to get the custom ticket fields I want. I just submitted the help ticket to add my custom fields, so I'll find out soon how it works out. So send them a help ticket and see if they can work this out for you. -- Troy Simpson IT Specialist, OCPDBA, SCSA, MCSE National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences PO Box 12233 (MD NH-03) Research Triangle Park, NC USA 27709-2233 ph.919.541.0902 | fax.919.541.0865 -----Original Message----- From: Josh Stewart [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, August 02, 2006 8:41 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Trac] Ticket Properties your using cvsdude also.. do you find that you cant add wiki formatted bullet points (*) to your ticket descriptions? Im wondering why, and if its something that might be able to be changed via one of the scripts that I dont have access to. -Josh Simpson, Troy (NIH/NIEHS) [E] wrote: |
