I have not built a cable to go from 2.5mm D710 GPS port to DB9 computer, but this is a good idea for troubleshooting. I'll build one this evening after work and see what I can see. Unless Scott has a revelation before then. I've got all filtering turned off in the D710, so it shouldn't be a problem with the range or type filter. Tom KD7LXL
