I am setting up the t2-301 for the first time. I set the position with a latitude and a long...and it worked fine.
Now introduce a GPS. Lowrance output Nema data sentences....does the gps need to output only one sentence or can it output more? I hooked the gps to port b.....and I have a computer hooked to port a. Do I need to use porta for the gps? thinking I would like 2 lines for the setup without having to switch ends. I have full communication with the t2-301....BUT when I put in position gps....I get no beacons/transmissions. Is there a way to see if the t2 is getting the nema sentences? going on a trip tomorrow so wouldnt mind to get this in a working state for a "real" test.
