I haven't made the source code for the GTRANS available, but if you're 
just reprogramming the board for some other purpose, you could start 
with the OpenTracker+ RT code - it'll load on the AW32 MCU.  I think the 
GTRANS should be loadable using otwincfg.  The ADSUpdater utility is 
basically otwincfg with everything but the firmware load portion removed.

It still might not be quite what you need, though.  The Garmin side of 
the board puts out 0-3.3v and doesn't use the RS232 transceiver.
