There are some notes in the archives on it. I used a series resistor (to limit current), a series diode to block negative voltages, and three diodes in series to ground to cap it at 3x the forward voltage of the diode. You could do that with a zener diode, too. The mini-B cable is the $9 one on the website. It's a custom mold with all 5 conductors wired. Scott
