[tracker2] Still need more help T2-301

I configured the T2-301 with otwinconfig.  I set the freq of 144.39 and 
setpower to 50 using Hyperterminal.  When I did this there was a brief burst of 
RF on a nearby monitor but not long enough for APRS info (antenna was 
connected).  I then connected the GPS and powered up the unit with an antenna 
attached.  There was no beacon at power up and I am monitoring the system with 
my D710 which is not recieving anything from the T2-301.  Is there something 
else I need to do to get the system operational?
