A few hours ago the remote wx station stopped transmitting data. I drove to the site so I could troubleshoot the problem. I found the Tracker2 totally unresponsive. The green RX led was on solid. Nothing was coming out of the serial port. The Tracker was not polling the weather station. I had to kill power to the Tracker to get it working again. All cables, except the Davis Weatherlink serial cable, are shielded. All cables have ferrite chokes at both ends.
I disabled the digipeater functions yesterday to see if the wx data errors would decrease or disappear.
