Good information, thanks. Do you know what firmware version you're running?
I'm trying to think where it might be getting stuck that the green LED would be on. Any lockup has to be either in a loop where the watchdog timer is getting cleared (and I try to make sure those aren't going to be infinite loops) or a hardware glitch where the oscillator stops running and the watchdog timer along with it.
