Dear All, I have tried to use the T2 as a mobile APRS tracker yesterday (as 9W2QC-9) for the first time together with an old Magellan GPS 4000 GPS receiver with great success. Previously, had only used the T2 as a mountain top digipeater. (9M4RDG-3 on 2M and 9M4RDC on 70CM)
I have also tried to make the Y splitter to be able to connect the GPS into one port (Port B) and the PC into the other port (Port A). However, I am confused as to how to configure these 2 ports. I would like preferably Port B connected to the PC, with the ability to work command input (for remote control of the digipeater or just to monitor packets - to test the digipeater's coverage as I travel around) or KISS (switched as required) and Port A connected to the Magellan GPS 4000 (this unit provides NMEA output). However, in OTWINCFG, I cannot find a choice for this setup. Appreciate if anyone could kindly guide me on how to perform this, or provide any alternative solutions for this.
