Typically for a vehicle the most reliable location to mount a temperature sensor is inside the front grill, but shielded from the radiator as well. When sitting and cool, the sensor is shielded from the sun and temperature stabilized by the vehicle, and when driving the airflow past the sensor gived the most representative reading of the OAT. > > Thanks! > Phil / w2lie Garrett Sloan VE6 RKY
