Nope, It's been a long time since I tested hoplimit1 on my OT2 fillins. If I 
recall correctly, misinformed folks running WIDE1-2 (bad path) were rewarded 
with two hops. Hoplimit 0 will act upon an exact match, replace the WIDE1-N 
with mycall and digipeat it.

Just excess baggage from an earlier "flight". I haven't noticed any harm or 
slowdown.

That reminds me of "How many licks to the center of a tutsipop"? Like the Owl, 
I say 3 licks;-) 

I was aware of Scott's post, but I really don't have much concern about the 
RAM's minimum life expectancy. I would be concerned if my script was re-writing 
with every packet received, or if the script created a constant mobius loop.
