You could try "disable turbo" or power the T2 up after clicking on connect, but if it was mine, I would be checking the supply voltage and getting an ohmmeter out to check the cable about now. Maybe there's no communication from the T2 to the PC. Don't just assume the cable is good because it worked before. Of course, the microcontroller could be shot.
